About The Void Honk

The Void Honk is a series of six-month projects, published as videos and essays, that I break into three phases on a weekly basis, with shorter Field Notes running alongside. I’m 26, from the Midwest — Chicagoland, to be specific — and building the system in public with all of you. The name came to me while meditating during a hard stretch: the universe traveling through the void, and a car alarm pulling me back.

The generalist path will get you through the doorway, becoming a version of yourself that takes action with purpose. To do what you can is tactics; to do what you want is strategy. It is not the way for everyone.

In November I’m opening a community discussion page and starting local conversations in the Chicagoland area. Join the discussion when it opens — or if you see me around, say hello.
